25 Best Awful Rap Album Covers

Hip-hop is responsible for some of the most ill-advised, laugh-out-loud hideous album covers in the history of the record industry. At their worst, these covers are lacking in aesthetic quality, offensive, or just plain unsettling. I love terrible rap album covers and here are 25 of my favorites.

Main Source - Breaking Atoms
No kid in the hood has ever cared this much about science. Maybe those are Skittles?

(Photos from Wikipedia)

Big Bear - Doin Thangs
Possibly my all-time favorite album title/cover combo. Look at the bountiful fruit those bears have stockpiled!

Trick Daddy -
His bookmarks include "Death" and "Drugs"

Ghostface Killah - Bulletproof Wallets
Raekwon the Chef and Ghostface the Pancake Waiter in Kimono.

Ta Smallz - Who Killed My Mama?
My money's on Flesh N Bone!

Pooh-Man - Funky as I Wanna Be

The UMC's - Fruits of Nature
Title doesn't help them much here.

Iceberg - Gangsta Rap
NSFW original - Just your standard awkward husband/wife hardcore nudity album cover.

Master P - Ice Cream Man
Master P had some of the worst Photoshopped covers of all-time.

Master P - Ghetto Postage

Dr. Doom - First Come, First Served
Seems like he's actively trying to not sell this record.

Majik Most - Molesting Hip Hop
You've never heard of this rapper because he named his debut album "Molesting HipHop"

Lil Flip - The Leprechaun

Lil' Cease - The Wonderful World of Cease A Leo
Teasing the ladies with the ol' multi-hands covering the dick play. Classic Cease!

Silkk the Shocker - Charge It 2 Da Game
The title font burns my eyes.

Bishop Lamont - Pope Mobile
This could not have been conceived of nor edited so poorly without the influence of sizzurp.

Top Dog - Slam Dunkin' Hoes
A bold, rich blend of poor physics, misogyny, and cartoonish female facial features.

Three 6 Mafia - Chapter 1: The End
They are escaping Earth atop a giant boombox with engines attached to it.

Hell Rell - For the Hell of It

Da Brat - Unrestricted

Juvenile - 400 Degreez
Women wearing leather in a library. Is that metaphorical for hot, Juvenile? That actually might be clever.

B.G. - Life After Cash Money
"Thugged in: 1992. Thugged Out: 2001." I wonder what label released this.

The Alkaholiks - Likwidation
What a bunch of losers.

Cold World Hustlers - Iceland
"Yo dawg, why the fuck we in Iceland rite now?"

Indo G - Angel Dust
How could you pass up on a record featuring Gangsta Boo?
